Travels of a Dodo

Last few days were spent at Lake Titicaca. I visited the reed islands of Uros (the entire island is a floating block of plant material!!!), Amantaní (where I spent the night with a family there), and Taquile. It was really fun and also a little tiring. when I came back, I was boatsick and decided to stay an extra night in Puno instead of taking the night bus into Arequipa.

I’m now in Arequipa, appreciating the lovely warm sun. It’s good to be near the coast again! I am going to Cruz del Condor tomorrow to see me some condors.
